Stuffed Mushrooms

Start with white button or baby bella mushrooms

  • Clean mushrooms
  • Remove stems and chop into small pieces
  • Brown 1lb breakfast sausage (pork) adding mushroom stems, 1/2 cup chopped onion and SPG to taste.
  • Cook until onion is soft and meat thoroughly cooked
  • Remove from heat
  • Mix in 8 oz. shredded mozzarella, stirring until melted
  • Stuff mushroom caps with mixture and cook at 325 degrees for 15 minutes or until mushrooms are soft
